Frequently Asked Questions
Is diving expensive?
Compared to many other active sports or hobbies, scuba diving isn’t that costly.
What equipment do I need to start?
For your PADI Open Water Diver course, all you need at first is a swimsuit. Until you get your own gear, you can rent everything from us.
Where can I dive?
Pretty much anywhere there’s water — pools, lakes, rivers, quarries, or even the ocean! Check out our “Diving Spots” section for more details.
What’s included in the diving course?
Learning to dive isn’t difficult, but just like any sport, it requires focus and consistency. Each course combines theory and practice, helping you master diving techniques and safety skills. If you feel you need more time, we offer extra sessions until you’re fully confident in the water.
How long does it take to get certified?
You can complete your diving training in as little as three days or up to six weeks, depending on your schedule and lesson frequency. Your certificate confirms your skills, but real confidence comes with experience — dozens or even hundreds of dives.
Are there any special requirements?
If you’re in good physical condition and feel comfortable in the water, you can easily join the PADI Open Water Diver course.
What should I watch out for?
Diving is an amazing way to challenge yourself and gain confidence, but success depends on trust and communication with your instructor. Don’t hesitate to ask questions — even small details can make a difference later. Be cautious of offers promising “quick and cheap” certification. Proper diving education takes time, practice, and repetition. We keep training until every student feels confident and performs all skills flawlessly.
