From November 9 to 16, 2024, Coral Latvia organized a diving safari in Egypt, in the Red Sea, along the “Golden Triangle” route. Latvian divers spent a week aboard a safari yacht, living, dining, and diving right next to the best reefs.

The Golden Triangle is one of the most famous safari routes in the Red Sea. It includes three outstanding dive sites – Daedalus Reef, Elphinstone, and Marsa Alam. These reefs are known for their rich underwater life, diverse fauna, and impressive coral walls.

Each day offered the chance to dive up to four times – from morning until evening. Between dives and in the evenings, participants could relax, share experiences, and connect with fellow divers and friends.

We saw reef sharks, eagle and sting rays, turtles, a variety of reef fish, and even dugongs – rare and special marine mammals.
